Public Face Mask Requirements and Customer Service Excellence

 At the outbreak of the Coronavirus, face coverings became a tool with which to help slow the spread.  Prior to the Public Health guidelines, the City of Richmond saw the need to implement their own guidelines for staff and clientele recognizing that great tolerance, patience, understanding and strong communications skills would be required during these unprecedented times.  This course is offered as part of our Municipal Shared Resources program.

  • Course Description

    With a lens on best practices, this brief, 12 minute, five module course sets out to communicate guidelines requiring the use of face masks in the municipal environment, and the management of the customer experience throughout the changing landscape in particular when faced with a situation that requires de-escalation.  A brief quiz is presented at the end with the ability to review and retry with the objective of reaching 100%.
